After listening to your feedback, the School Admissions Team are making changes to the way ‘in-year’ school  applications and decisions will be processed for the 2018/19 academic year. 

Applications for the 2018/19 academic year will start to be taken from 28 May 2018, and we will no longer be sending the cumbersome and chunky weekly spread sheets currently used each Monday to Own Admission Authorities who buy this service from the LA.

Own admission authorities who wish to the LA to continue to co-ordinate in-year applications will be able to view their applications on the Provider Portal and will be required to enter decisions onto the portal each week.  Most admission authorities have been using the portal for Year 7  and Year R applications with minimal reports of any  problems so we are now rolling this out for ‘in-year applications’.  I am not anticipating any issues, however, if you feel you would like some training then this could be provided at cost.
