We are rightly proud of our community spirit across the City and this project was intended to celebrate Nottingham's richly diverse population.

Schoolchildren in Nottingham created 80 pieces of artwork to fill an exhibition promoting cultural diversity. The Nottingham Big Tent opened on Monday 19th June and visitors to Old Market Square had the opportunity to walk through and see the pictures on display until Wednesday 21st June. The project involved 35 local schools and was funded by a grant from the Scape Group. The aim was to celebrate Nottingham’s rich diversity and community cohesion.
